Do you know who the lead pitcher is for the Mariners? How about who won the super bowl last year? Do you know the name Ray Allen? (Don't feel bad if you don't, I thought he was a pop star).
From what I've experienced, many women enjoy the idea of sporting events when it comes to getting friends together and sharing a few beers with the guys. But beyond that, we tend to overlook the details and because of it, aren't able to contribute to a sports conversation in a group of men or in the work place.
I recently had the privilege to meet Jen from Talk Sporty To Me, and was immediately excited about sharing her secrets with our ladies. On September 22nd at 7pm, she'll be coming to our studio to teach you all how to "talk sporty!".
Here's the skinny:
Talk Sporty to Me teaches communication skills that work with the most insecure sports fan. Forget about learning rules, teams or player names - you don't need them to engage in a conversation about sports. I've developed t that takes just 10 minutes a day. I divulge my secrets – the ones I use every day with professional athletes and coaches – and give you the confidence you need to talk sports like a pro in no time!
To add to the excitement, Chef'n will be teaching you some easy recipes for sports friendly appetizers, and you'll even get to take home an awesome kitchen gadget to help you make it yourself!
Tickets are only $10 and include snacks, beverages and a treat from Chef'n! We promise you'll walk away feeling much more sassy about your sporting lingo! tickets can be purchased on our website.
